"What's a guy gotta do to get a MacArthur grant around here?!"
Graham Arthur Mackenzie
Graham Arthur Mackenzie is a 20-year veteran, triply-nationally-certified, Lou-Fant-educated, SCCC-ITP-attending, former-RIT-Science-&-Engineering-staff-membering, independent professional American Sign Language interpreter, non-car-owning-since-2003-bicycling-nut, and hot yogi from Seattle, WA. He makes a lot of music on his own. As Rolling Stone reported, President Obama loved the only band of someone else's music he's ever been in. He's been on Sesame Street, twice. He's written lots of rap and singing lyrics to go atop a hella sick Nintendo cover band from Sacramento, CA called The Advantage. Like a lot of white dudes, he voluntarily started and ran for over a decade an afterschool program in NYC based around teaching under-served high-schoolers of color how to express themselves through hip-hop. He started and ran for three years a softball bar league in Portland, OR, despite having never played softball, really. He makes funny social commentary art projects out of technology. He has thoughts on racism in America in the 21st Century. He really likes Physics & Mathematics, and especially explaining them to people. He's had interesting interactions with a few well-known people. And he's currently working on helping you stop needing to drive your car! me@grahamarthurmackenzie.net
